Long Fiber Coating Systems

HTX Long Fiber Coating Systems are engineered specifically for batch-type vacuum sputtering of synthetic (chemical) long fibers.

System Overview

Rather than prioritizing continuous line speed, the system architecture focuses on process stability, repeatability, and coating consistency across each batch. All fiber handling, including unwinding, coating, and rewinding, is performed entirely inside a single vacuum chamber, ensuring stable vacuum conditions during fiber motion.

Design Focus

  • Batch-Type Vacuum Sputtering Architecture:
Designed for controlled and repeatable deposition cycles, prioritizing coating stability over production speed.
  • Stable Tension Management for Long Fibers:
Engineered to maintain consistent fiber transport under vacuum conditions, reducing breakage during coating processes.
  • Modular Production Configuration:
Scalable system design allowing multiple coating chambers to be configured with shared power modules based on production requirements.

Material Compatibility

System configurations available for:

  • Silver (Ag)
  • Copper (Cu)
  • Stainless Steel (SS)
  • Titanium (Ti)

Typical Applications

  • Antibacterial & hygiene-related textile components
  • Thermal-related textile layers, inserts, and linings
  • Surface functionalization for industrial technical textiles

Collaboration Approach

We engage in focused technical dialogue to evaluate feasibility before sampling. Our engineering team works with clients to determine if our batch-sputtering process aligns with the specific physical constraints of your fiber material.
